Mobility You Can Do While Watching TV
One of the struggles I hear most frequently from clients is “Ugh, I need to stretch more.” Immediately followed by “but I never have time to do it.”
So I thought to myself: how could I get clients to stretch, for just 10-15 minutes, while they’re at home by the TV after a long day?
Introducing: Mindless Mobility.
The idea is to do simple stretches and mobility exercises while in the living room, watching TV. Would require minimum equipment (couch, pad/pillow, foam roller) and could easily be performed while watching their favorite show on Netflix.
Try each of these for 1 minute each (1 minute per side for the one sided ones) to help open up your body without breaking a sweat. So easy to do that you can even play with your dog while you do them. What’s not to love about that?
Make small, consistent changes each and every day, and you’ll see the benefits in the long run. And this goes to more than just stretching!
